Happy Monday! Do you want to set a great tone to make this your best week ever? What about your best day ever? How about making this the first day of the rest of your Exceptional Life?

I have 3 easy things that you can do at the beginning of each week to set yourself up for your best week ever.

  1. Connect with your vision.

If you haven’t established your vision for your future, take a couple of hours to do that first. If you have, great, connect with your vision for yourself, for your family, for the legacy you want to leave and the difference you want to make.

Now, in alignment with your big vision, what’s your vision for this week? What do you want to achieve? Who do you choose to be? How do you want to make people feel? What difference do you want to make?

Remember, you don’t have to achieve you whole vision this week, but you can move significantly closer by staying connected with your vision in everything you do.

  1. Write down what you want to achieve this week

Studies show that those who write down their goals (and take positive action toward them) accomplish significantly more than those who don’t. So, holding firm to your vision, write down 5 things you want to achieve to get you closer to realising that vision this week.

Make sure they are things that are achievable for you and will contribute significantly to your forward progression.

Intention is a powerful creative force. So, once you set the intention, follow your intuition and, through your positive actions, allow the Universe to do a lot of the heavy lifting for you.

For instance, maybe it’s meeting someone who will support you in helping you achieve your vision. Set the intention to meet this person and get out amongst it, then stay open and aware of the interactions you have and the people you meet. You’ll be surprised who appears in your circle of influence simply because you set that intention. The positive action you take would be to get out from behind the computer and go to a networking event, meetup, workshop or other event where there are likely to be like minded people. You never know who you’re going to bump into.

  1. Ask ‘Does what I’m doing / Who I’m being serve my future vision?’

It’s important you stay away and pay attention to the actions you’re taking. Ask yourself as you embark on a new activity, task or conversation, ‘Is this serving me and my future vision? Is this in alignment with who I want to be?’

These are powerful questions to ask and will help you be far more productive and get you closer to your goals every single day.

Everybody procrastinates. The better you get at minimizing the amount of time you spend on things that don’t serve you or your vision, the more you will achieve and the more satisfying your life will be.

At the same time, be kind to yourself. We all make mistakes. We all procrastinate and waste time. We’re not robots. If you find yourself spending too much time faffing around on Facebook, (personally I’ve wasted at least a year there myself), smile and be grateful you recognized your behaviour and do something more in alignment with your vision.

(Just quietly, time out spending quality time with family would be in alignment with your vision. Never underestimate the value of nurturing your relationships and opening your heart. Your relationships are by far the most important and valuable ways to spend your time. Plus they will fuel your inspiration and motivation for your future vision.)

You are capable of being so much more than you can possibly imagine. Refuse to settle for anything less than what you truly want and decide to make every moment of your exceptional life count.

Every moment is the first moment in the rest of your life. Forget the disappointments and failures of the past. They do not define you and cannot define your future, unless you let them. So, decide to be disciplined in your approach to your vision, and take these 3 easy steps to making this your best week ever!
